It's time for the first ever giveaway here on Galexi Cupcakes & Sweets! I'm usually not into giveaways on my blog because they tend to detract from the content I'm really interested in. But, I'm making an exception (with more to come in the future) because it is the time of the year to give, and I just love my readers so much. I decided I needed to give at least a small token of my appreciation. So, I'm giving away one copy of Foodista Best of Food Blogs Cookbook courtesy of Andrews McMeel Publishing.
Foodista Best of Food Blogs Cookbook was published last month by Andrews McMeel Publishing. It is filled with delicious recipes and great pictures to make your mouth water. Here’s a cookbook that shows you the passion and diversity of food bloggers who love to cook.

Awesome giveaway girl. My new favorite holiday tradition (that I many times indulge in during the rest of the year) is watching the movie Elf with Will Farrell. Just so darn funny.
ReplyDeleteAnd I am a proud new follower on Twitter :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday movie is Scrooge but the Mickey Mouse version. It was so well done and it is more light hearted than the actual movie. As for songs, let's see I like Mariah Carey's entire cd.
ReplyDeleteFollowing you on Twitter!!
ReplyDeleteElf has to be my favorite holiday movie because you cannot sit through it without grinning like an idiot the whole time. As Buddy says, "I like smiling, smiling's my favorite!"
ReplyDeleteIt's a Wonderful Life. Never get tired of it!
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas Story is the all time best movie. My hubby & I always spend an evening over the holidays curled up on the couch with that movie!
ReplyDeleteThe old Rudolf and Frosty movies that they show on network TV. My brother and I used to look forward to watching those every year as kids!
ReplyDeleteI am a new blog follower!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of It's a Wonderful Life. Growing up we used to all watch the movie together as a family. That's a tradition I plan on keeping now that I have my own little family.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Muppet Christmas Carol. My family has always been Henson fans--grew up with every movie--and this one has remained one of my favorites. Great songs, great lines. We watch it every year, and without it, it's just not Christmas!

my all time fav christmas movie is miracle on 34th st- the original- the meaning of christmas doesnt get better than that!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I have shard a love for Home Alone since it first came out. We had a taped version of it on television that last over a decade and we would watch it every Christmas, quoting the lines together that we now have memorized. 3 years ago my sister gave me my own DVD copy. We were apart last Christmas and are again apart this Christmas, but I look forward to watching it with her when I return home in March. It's a movie that brings us closer together in tears of laughter and bonding time.

I enjoy the traditional Christmas songs - White Christmas, Silent Night, etc. They remind me of singing in the choir in elementary and middle school, and get me in the holiday spirit! I also love the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's holiday music.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just became a follower! =) (P.S. Thanks for commenting on my blog to tell me about this giveaway!)
